The Problem.

In Scandinavia, despite the quality state-sponsored education, the worldwide problem of getting enough good software developers is still rampant. There are simply not enough developers for the industry, and every good developer that works here experiences a flood of LinkedIn and personal solicitation. Alongside this, the salary level of developers is quite high and social support equally creates a situation where developers are less likely to move for reasons of ambition.

The problem of attracting and securing good developers is, for large companies and startups alike, very real. While huge companies may be able to afford resources dedicated to recruitment and retention, and pay high fees, companies that are in startup phases, and even companies that have to adhere to stricter budges, find this quite difficult.

The Solution.

Employ Remote & Relocated Developers

Even before the pandemic, with trailblazing companies like Github and Upwork, record productivity and high efficiency as well as employee happiness was the message that was being shared across the web. Since 2020 this has been shouted from the rooftops. Some companies have taken the plunge, and others simply felt like they were not ready. We are here to help connect you with resources to convert the unconverted, and we can consult with you where there is specific needs to be met.

By utilizing remote work we can do two very powerful things.

1. We can extend the net that your company can cast deep into several competitive countries that we source from. In actual fact, innovation and serious engineering is often encouraged in a more emotive way in these countries as a real solution to the lack of government and public support. In a system where one cannot rely on public policing, healthcare, education, ad finitum, there is more motivation to become fully self supporting.

2. We can lower the remuneration that would need to be paid for a local developer considerably, while affording the developer a very high local salary. The mechanism behind this is simple, the emerging market's exchange rate allows this. Imagine getting a developer that saves 30% on the budget, while affording that developer a 30% higher salary than local. And all this while allowing them to work remotely, spend more time with their family and less time comuniting, living wherever they want to.

Now we find that companies who feel that, regardless of these benefits, they need an in person resource can still access this through the larger fishing net and great talent pool. In that case we can link the company with candidates that are looking forward to relocating, and we handle their whole relocation process, from visa's to accomodation.

In some rare cases we also can acquire candidates that will work a fixed term contract, with the option to renew with relocation. In that way, a skeptical company can work with a developer, and move them across after a reasonable trial period.

Because we are a small shop, we undercut the competition in terms of placement fees by 20-50%.
